Choices in Family Planning: Informed and Voluntary Decision-Making (Realizing Rights in Sexual and Reproductive Health Services Series)
Summary: A practical toolkit of related job aids intended to help service providers, trainers, service program managers, managers and members of community-based organizations, policy makers, and donors support individuals in making informed and voluntary family planning decisions. This practical toolkit has four sections:
(1) Introduction of important concepts related to informed and voluntary decision making:
(2) Discussion Guide to facilitate discussion of the elements of informed choice;
(3) Preliminary Assessment Guide to help assess a program's status of sexual and reproductive health decision making; and
(4) Next Steps Guide to help plan strategies to strengthen support for family planning clients' sexual and reproductive health decision making.
